October 14, 2008 ROSS PROMOTES EAST ANTRIM IN ASSEMBLY East Antrim DUP MLA Alastair Ross has secured an adjournment debate in the Assembly to promote the tourist potential of the constituency. The debate will take place on Tuesday evening at 5pm approximately. Commenting Mr Ross said, “I am delighted that the Business Office has granted me the opportunity to highlight my constituency in the Assembly Chamber on Tuesday. East Antrim has a massive tourism potential and I will be highlighting this in the chamber. Aside from places like Carrickfergus Castle there are a number of lesser known attractions that need promoted, not least the historic and cultural places of interest. I look forward to the debate and contributions from other MLA’s in the area as well as the Minister responsible for promoting tourism.” last updated: 24/02/2008
